Reflections of a Sojourner

Reflections of a Sojourner is a compilation of mixed memories Rev. Fr. Araliya Jayasundara has had during his stay at St. Anthony’s. Though Fr. Araliya was a born Trinitian, he was dearly loved by all the Antonians who knew him, for his passion and affection towards St. Anthony’s. As a volunteer teacher, father had been working closely with the college choir before he fled to Trinco to take over new responsibilities.

One of the more embarrassing and self-indulgent challenges of our time is the task of relearning how to concentrate. Greetings for a New Year Filled with Contentment, Joy and Happiness. Seeing you after a while isn't it?

Life claims no ends, but a continuous beginning. Sometimes we may feel that aspects of life are ends in themselves, but taken the totality its not to be. With every mistake we learn, every wrong decision make us think more the next time we face a similar situation. >>>

It is but fitting that I address you the creator of this space in my first thoughts after leaving SACK. Now I am at a different location altogether, with a new set of challenges among a neglected population of our motherland. Sometimes ...we tend to forget how cruel life can be for a group of individuals who struggle to exist within the bound of your own motherland. I am so relieved and fortunate to be here with these children of the same Creator.
