A bow to the Antonian legend - J. Anderson
18th September 2010 marks the 50th death anniversary of Jack Anderson – the legendary Antonian cricketer who once ruled the arenas. Anderson’s knock of 291 in 1918 is one of the best feats ever achieved by a schoolboy sportsman. He also scored five centuries in five successive matches and was the first to score a century at the Cricket Stadium at Asgiriya. Comments (1)
