Antonians bag the Rajans
A flurry of tries in the end ensured a convincing win for the Antonians over the Rajans at Nittawela today. Earlier on, Antonians drew the first blood with a goal; however, by the half time, Rajans were ahead by a whisker at 13-12. Yet, after the breather, a rejuvenated Antonian side ran rout over Dharmaraja as they bagged 27 points in the second half alone while the Rajans failed to bother the scorers.
Antonians, with two back-to-back wins, are now right on course to give their best against the league champs – St. Peter’s next Saturday. The final score read 39-13.
