Lost, but spirits high
Antonians may have lost their second outing; yet, they put up a great fight in a match that went all the way down to the wire. A match that went neck-and-neck until the last minute with points 12 each, was ultimately taken away by the Thomians with the penalty kick that also marked the end of the match. Having played on the Thomians’ den, the show put up by the Eagles was commendable.
Final score:SACK lost to STC - 15 to 12.

... it is great to see the college team doing us proud. Two tough matches to start with and two narrow losses. But I am sure the team will come back in the next couple of games strongly. Antonians young and old, rally round the banner. This is the time we need everyone to support the team. |

... The next couple of matches are comparatively easier as opposed to the first two. Once we get in to a winning streak, we will cruise. Just like the last year. So let's wish the guys the very best. Hope the college present boys will also travel in their numbers to support the team. It used to be a tradition at St Anthony's to have great support whereever they play. I sincerely hope it continues. All the best. Also....to the administrator: Thank you for updating the scores. i live overseas and any little information of any college evet is precious commodity. |
