Interact Club
The president of the Rotary club of Katugastota, Rotarian Ranjith Perera and the staff advisor, Mr. Edward Wijeratne, initiated the Interact Club of St. Anthony's College, which is now in its 15th year. It was designed to provide the youth with an opportunity to work together in a world of fellowship and international understanding. The Rotary Club had its Charter President on the 11th May 1989 under the patronage of Rev. Fr. Stephen Abraham, our Principal. Over the years, the Club has marched forward gracefully, accomplishing its various projects and activities. The interactors display much talent, leadership and perserverence in organizing the Annual All Island Drama Competition "The One Act Plays", to strengthen the Peace and Goodwill among interators throughout the Island and enhance their talents.
The youthful interactors engage activity in many Social service projects to help the less fortunate. They also take part in Sports and other competitions discovering and displaying their many talents. The vision of the Interact Club is to help its members to grow into well-balanced people able to face the future with responsibility and who will be able to build a Peaceful Sri Lanka.

In July 2009, after a lapse of several years, Interact Club re-initiated the prestigious One Act Plays - the drama competition.

The Interact Club of St Anthony's College is proud to announce the 3 awards won at the District Assembly held in Colombo in 2005. (1) The Best Club Service Project, (2) Best Citation Award (as one of the best clubs) and (3) the past president Harindra Wewala was selected as the best Interactor.
The Interactors had a car wash on the 6th of August 2005 as a fund raising project.
On the 26th of August, the colourful installation ceremony of the new committee was held with Mr Pallipane - president of the Rotary Club of Katugastota and the chief guest. Interactors from 15 schools participated.
