Environment Society
Since 1998 to date, about 25 students are being entered to the society. Under the guidance of Ms. Regina Perera, who is the master in charge, Environment Society has done a significant job pertaining to college and external activities. This has been perfectly proved by the fact that they have achieved the highest trophy an Environment Society can reach for - the President's Trophy.
Environment Society has been able to obtain the first place for 'Outstanding Performance in Environment Skills'. Moreover, they have conducted production of disposable bags as an alternative to polythene bags with the sponsorship of National Environment Authority. Most of the projects that were initiated for the 150th Jubilee Celebrations have now been completed successfully, whereas some are still in progress.
In year 2003, four students were able to obtain Gold Medals making the college first in Kandy district in Environment Skills. Achievement of Master Dilshan David in obtaining the President's Trophy has been great honor given to the College by the Environment Society.
