The Old Antonian Chorale – Lucis Cantores present the Carols of the Light—an ecumenical celebration of Advent & Christmas Carols on 18th December at St. Anthony’s Cathedral, Kandy.
The Choral group consists of 25 members who left the college during the past 5-6 years and who were members of the College Choir. The phrase lucis cantores refers to “singers of the Light”, believing that it is the Light from Heaven that guides our lives, irrespective of caste, class, religion and ethnicity. This will be the group’s second performance and it will be graced by Patron of SACK the Bishop of Kandy.
The invitation goes to everyone to come and be a part of this celebration, and to encourage them in the efforts to proclaim to the world the Antonian Singing Talents.

Cricket has been an integral part of Muttiah Muralitharan for over two decades now. It's probably why the Sri Lanka spin wizard, who bid Test cricket goodbye in fairytale style on Thursday, couldn't visit the institution he studied in. Rev Fr Stephen Abraham (78), who was principal of St Anthony's college, Kandy now hopes for a visit by Murali.
